News/Announcements

The Parks & Recreation Foundation’s 2018 Annual Report is now available.  We are very proud of our accomplishments over this past year, including donating $5,000 to youth recreational scholarships, participating in 15 community events and starting new community programs.  While we look forward to repeating those accomplishment in 2019, the Foundation will also be making some significant improvements to almost every City park in Burlingame.  New chess tables, benches, outdoor cornhole sets, refillable water bottle stations and much more are on the way.  None of this would be possible without the support of our City Council, Parks & Recreation Commission and the amazing community members.  We appreciate everyone who bought a beer or glass of wine at a music concert, purchased raffle tickets at the Family Campout, donated to our Buy-A-Brick programs, bought a hot chocolate at the Tree Lighting or simply put an extra dollar in our tip jar.  On behalf of all of the Foundation Directors, THANK YOU for all of your support.  Together, we are making Burlingame even more special.
